Assalmaualaykum

Long time no talk so gotta fill everyone in on …….. stuff.

06’ summer so that finally means, Senior Year.   inshaAllah things go as planned and I can get into york/McMaster/University of Toronto.   Business ….. something?

I still remember the first day of school in America and no one expects anything of you. I passed kindergarten and hated “writing time” where everyone whips out there journals and writes how they feel but the ESL illiterate kids drew circles in there books.
(still managed to pass)

Hah and falcon Point in Pakistan when I shat in my pants cuz I couldn’t hold it for another 8 hours.

Middle school was  a big jump. Being some quiet kid who loved recess, saved by the bell and making endless lame jokes. Moving districs and going to  hodges bend and learning how to talk outloud and so many jokes with so many people. Sixth seventh eight grade just getting a whole new identity.sixth grade meeting ryan and mattew perry and those 2 twins, one of em was andrew and the other always said "NA-CHOOO CHEESE" on Nacho fridays (come get em while there hot for a dollar fifty) there were other like in Spanish class and all of us in the back corner did awful with me, amin? romero? and umm one more kid. seventh grade was a diffrnt lunch table so a diffrnt group of friends. new faces, Lots of good things and tennis and shooting some asian kid with a BB gun cuz joesph was over. eight grade just flowed into that. Meeting new people, picking up things you wouldent try before.

coming to Canada and learning that theres A LOT more brown people in the world which was just awesome. Learning cricket and badminton and still playing tennis with one who wants to hit. Fighting for an MSA which is becoming an annoying 4 year run. Learning about global poverty, social injustices, and useless wars. Reading. The weird thing is kids here try. Try like Crazzy. Maybe it was just the kids I knew, but in texas studying wasn’t really a priority to anyone? It was middle school. And the world turns over in highschool where its imposable to get a 95 avg unless your new to the country.

One more year then its on to university
getting married
and finally making it on to Price is Right

Senior year

Appi and minnah come in 3 days. Being an uncle has its perks

assalamualaykum,

so ummm yeah kinda late on the whole weekly entry thing.

so today is friday and the last day before winter break starts and you get a well needed break. so its the day b4 the break but we all still go to school but just to skip. and now im all cought up and ganna try harder when january rolls around and inshaAllah get some deeny stuff done over the break and we got a halo and badminton tournament at Al-Falah on new years till fajr which should be amazing. ganna go work at the chocolate factory over the break and get enough money to spend at there book store and get some work done. life is repetitive but you need somethign wierd everyday just so its not all a blur.
